For priming it is recommended to fill the lines with deionized water first using the Prime function. Then you can attach the reagents to the tubing(s) and fill the lines with the reagent using the Prime function again. This procedure prevents splashing and contamination of the injector tips with reagents which may occur if an air/reagent mixture would leave the injector tips.
